CranioSacral Therapy
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a subtle yet profound system of natural healthcare that employs gentle, non-invasive touch. It supports the body’s inner wisdom and can relieve stress, anxiety, trauma, pain, tensions and restrictions in the body.
CST has its roots in Osteopathy and was developed through the life work of Dr John E. Upledger. Through educated light touch, CST helps to balance the nervous system and trigger an individual's inherent self-healing mechanisms.
SomatoEmotional Release is unique to Upledger CranioSacral Therapy. This very gentle process allows the body tissues to release restrictions simultaneously with emotional holding. During a CranioSacral treatment, we may find ourselves recalling past events or feeling emotional for no obvious reason. With respectful, gentle support, our bodies can release long-held emotional pain.
Rooted in a heart-centered approach honoring the mind, body and soul, CranioSacral Therapy is deeply restorative integrative bodywork that can support healing on an energetic, physical, emotional and spiritual level.
Selene is a member of the CranioSacral Society and runs her practice Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from Kensal Green, London.
Meditation & Mindfulness
Rumi once said, "The quieter you become, the more able you are to hear."
Since 2018, Selene has been teaching meditation and creating spaces of quietude. As an intuitive meditation facilitator she creatively offers techniques including gentle movements, guided and silent meditations, breathwork and relaxation to meet the unique needs of each group or individual. Her approach aligns with Rumi’s wisdom. Helping beings to find a sense of stillness within, with the intention to empower, guiding them toward lives of meaning, liberation and connection.
Selene's approach to meditation is interdisciplinary and secular. She draws from multiple traditions, including ancient Vedic, Buddhist, Shamanic and modern techniques, to provide tools to meet challenges and difficulties with grace and live lives of meaning and joy
Selene has held and taught on retreats, designed mindfulness courses for small businesses and currently co-facilitates a monthly women’s movement and meditation practice circle with Deanne Oram.
